Garden Club Annual Fundraiser

House Hop 2011


Saturday, October 1
4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m

What: House Hop 2011 is a progressive wine, beer, and food tasting event organized by the Whitehall Garden Club as part of the club’s annual fundraiser.

How It Works: Upon arriving at the Meeting Room, participants are divided into three groups in order to enable a shotgun start format for the tour. Participants visit three homes staying twenty minutes at each home with ten minute travel time in between. At each home participants may sample three different wines or beers and an assortment of hors d’oeuvres.

Schedule:

  • 4:00 – 4:20 Registered participants gather at the Meeting Room.

  • 4:20 – 4:30 Travel to Home 1

  • 4:30 – 4:50 Home 1 Visit

  • 4:50 – 5:00 Travel to Home 2

  • 5:00 – 5:20 Home2 Visit

  • ­5:20 – 5:30 Travel to Home 3

  • 5:30 – 5:50 Home 3 Visit

  • 5:50 – 6:00 Return to Meeting Room for Pie and Coffee Social.

Cost: $15 per person, $25 per couple

Pie and Coffee Social


Saturday, October 1
6:00 p.m

The Pie and Coffee Social is a free social open to all Whitehall residents and guests sponsored by the Whitehall Garden Club. Whether or not you can attend the House Hop, please stop by for a slice or two of pie, meet neighbors, and find out what projects the Garden Club is planning.
